About Me

I am a senior Computer Science student at the University of Houston with a Mathematics minor, graduating in May 2026. My academic background includes coursework in Data Structures, Algorithms, Operating Systems, Computer Organization & Architecture, Game Development, and Machine Learning. I have hands-on experience building software, designing games with Unity, and creating web experiences, alongside leadership responsibilities as an NSM Student Leader and Marketing Manager at Transturk. My technical skills span C++, Python, R, and web technologies, and I’m particularly passionate about artificial intelligence, data science, and delivering impactful projects. I’m actively seeking opportunities in software engineering and AI where I can contribute, learn fast, and grow with a collaborative team.

Testimonials

I am pleased to comment on Mr. Ciftci’s work as a Peer Assistant in our University of Houston Undergraduate Student Success office from Fall 2023 to Spring 2024. Peer Assistants are indispensable to our student success operations as they are able to connect with students of a similar age to offer informal advising and support; send and respond to student correspondence; greet students and parents who visit the office in person; plan student programming and events; compile student outreach data; and assist instructors in our freshman seminar courses. In this Peer Assistant capacity, I found Mr. Ciftci diligent in work ethic, focused in attention to detail, and proactive in efforts to support our undergraduate majors. These are all transferrable skills I am certain will be a benefit to any organization in which he is involved in the future.
